Perched above the ninth hole of the St. Marys Golf & Country Club, and in close proximity to the St. Marys Weddings event spaces and Social Thirty-One restaurant, The Penrose Suites is a unique destination that offers boutique accommodations and premium amenities for your wedding weekend. The property not only offers a convenient and beautiful setting for the whole wedding party to get ready, but also a memorable stay for the two of you on your wedding night
REHEARSAL Dinners AT SOCIAL THIRTY-ONE
There’s more to a wedding celebration than the actual day. For the complete wedding party picture, you also have the rehearsal dinner to consider. Our team will be happy to reserve your party a table in our restaurant, Social Thirty-One, where, following your complimentary ceremony rehearsal, you will dine from our two- or three-course prix fixe group dinner menu.
Our Story
Through a vision for creating a unique and approachable, one-of-a-kind wedding experience, husband and wife team, Matt and Ashton Staffen, have built a recognized and respected hospitality brand in Southwestern Ontario. After more than a decade of growing their family-owned business, Ashton and Matt have transformed the special event facility from a single banquet hall into a full-service, multi-venue wedding destination, renowned for its seamless planning and execution. The venue’s annual wedding count has grown from single to triple digits, yet the Staffens’ proudest accomplishment is a team that has grown from just 20 employees to now over 100 during the peak season. And largely with the support of their caring and experienced staff, Matt and Ashton’s unwavering commitment to detail and customer service ensures couples feel at home when they choose St. Marys Weddings to host their special day. “It is important to us that our couples feel something more – to be a part of our family.
